A Tale of Two Farmers and Their Dream
IDM Company Limited, established on February 8th, 2010, is a limited liability company specialising in the aggregation of agricultural produce such as shea nuts, soybeans, groundnuts, and maize, as well as the processing of shea butter. Additionally, the company engages in general commercial farming activities.
Founded by three individuals, including two family members, IDM Company Limited operates under the leadership of its three primary directors.

IDM started as a small Aggregator of Shea nut and later on added soy beans and other Agri produce such as groundnut, maize and processing of Shea butter, we dealt mainly with women groups in the rural areas and later on added sub agents known as purchasing clerks as the business continued to expand. The Company now has a staff of Twenty Eight (28) including Eleven (11) Purchasing Clerks and Ten (10) women groups.
IDM started business with only 2 motor bikes and now has 8 motor bikes and 1(one) Kia truck, 2 saloon cars and a Mitsubishi Pajero.
Our offtakers are (1) Manorma Africa Limited. (2) Amtrade Limited (3) F – Co (4) Bunge Loders Tema. (5) Maltiti Shea Butter Processing Center. (6) KI Ghana Limited.
Tahiru Hussien is a cousin to the CEO (MD) of the company who takes care of all business activities in the absence of CEO (MD).
Our mission is to create a sustainable business opportunity within the shea supply chain and so therefore we are offering training to women groups within and outside Ghana who are in the shea sector. Our missions are to increase production in the Agric sector and to improve upon good quality Agricultural
